Every so often we like to go through our reviews on various websites, and as this is a relatively new blog site, we wanted to share some of them with you.
At the Glan Yr Afon Inn, we work hard to make sure we come up to scratch (and beyond!) in all areas, and sites such as Active Hotels help us to see how we’re doing.
Some of our favourites are:
Ken from Liverpool came with his wife and thought we were very friendly, good value for money and had nice tidy rooms. He said “A very friendly hotel, and the food was good. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to all our friends.”
Harry, who travelled alone for business liked our clean and comfortable rooms, and thought The Glan was a ‘characterful inn’. He said “This is an excellent inn, well run, with good food and real ales, friendly and efficient staff, good comfortable rooms and excellent value for money. It depends what you are looking for – I thought this inn had everything. It is obviously popular locally, which is a good sign.”
David came with his partner and said “Excellent staff and service – Good food and beer, if you are not staying here it is an excellent eatery for travellers on the A55″
Rose visited us with her husband and their dog and said “I thought they made us feel very welcome with our dog she was made to feel like a guest rather than having to shut her in our room she was welcomed into the public house and was able to sit with us whilst we enjoyed a drink. All the staff paid us attention and welcomed us into ther hotel it was a very enjoyable stay and we would stay there again in the future”
